1. Scope

These Terms & Conditions apply to all apartment‐purchase and related legal services provided by Home Law Guide (homelawguide.com), with registered office at Mattenstrasse 52, 4058 Basel, Switzerland (Swiss UID: CHE-783-415-269). They govern the rights and obligations between you (“Client”) and Home Law Guide for transactions initiated via our website or by email.

2. Services

Home Law Guide undertakes to provide the following:

• Legal Consultation & Quote: Review transaction details and provide a flat-fee estimate in CHF.
• Contract & Due Diligence: Draft and review purchase agreements, title searches, disclosures.
• Escrow & Notary Coordination: Liaise with notaries, lenders, and land registry offices.
• Closing Coordination: Arrange e-signatures or in-person signing appointments.
• Delivery of Documents & Funds: Ensure transfer of funds and delivery of final paperwork.

3. Contract Formation

A contract is formed when you accept our quote in writing—either by confirming via the contact form on homelawguide.com or by email to info@homelawguide.com. We will then send a confirmation email and invoice.

4. Fees & Payment

All fees are quoted in Swiss Francs (CHF) and exclude any statutory taxes or third-party fees (e.g., notary, land registry). Payment is due per the invoice terms. Accepted methods:

• Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard)
• Bank Transfer (wiring instructions provided on invoice)

5. Liability & Warranty

We warrant that services will be performed with reasonable skill and care. Our total liability for direct damages is limited to the fees paid for the specific service. We disclaim liability for indirect or consequential damages.

6. Refund Policy

Cancellation and refund terms:

• Before document preparation: Full refund of any fees paid.
• After document preparation: 50% refund, less hours already expended.
• Once closing coordination begins: No refund.

Processing time: Refunds will be issued within 10 business days to the original payment method. Fees for work already delivered are non-refundable.
